The Artist

Welcome to the ARTism of self-taught autistic artist Donna Williams.

My use of the word 'ARTism' came from my description of the relationship between autism and art and I've been using the term since 2000. There's an interaction between autism and artism on so many levels which I hope you'll enjoy exploring here through my paintings and sculptures, perhaps even see you at an exhibition. I have sold both individual artworks and collections Australia wide and internationally and my art is enjoyed by those interested in both outsider art and contemporary art, visited by art therapists and teachers who use it to inspire ARTism in their students, and enjoyed by a broad spectrum of the general public.
